We've been buying coffees from SNAP's Chelbesa stations - Danche & Chelbesa One - since year one. Exemplary and consistent quality year on year - SNAP has it dialled, these stations helped put Gedeb on the map as a notable micro-region in its own right, separate & distinct from the neighbouring Yirgacheffe and Kochere.

Process: |
Traditional Washed: Ripe red cherries selectively picked and delivered to Chelbesa. Cherries floated to remove underripes and debris before pulping. Parchment wet fermented for 72 hours in ceramic tanks, then washed through grading channels with a final 2 hour soak. Moved to raised drying beds for approximately 10 days of controlled drying. |
