CGLE Las Margaritas gesha washed - Colombia, Friedhats | 250g

What can we say? We love CGLE and it shows. Just a quick count leads me to believe that we’ve had 19 unique CGLE labels for different lots, from Sudan Rume to the GXO and everything in between. It’s such a treat to reliably work with great people producing coffee with precision and care year in and year out. This next launch will be two expressions of the same coffee from the same farm. Las Margaritas is one of the farms run by Café Granja La Esperanza, and both of these geshas are grown there. The difference comes down to the processing- we have both the washed and the anaerobic lots this year. Two expressions of the same coffee at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum. This is the washed lot- a bright and clean coffee absolutely packed to the brim with refined florals. The anaerobic exists at the opposite pole- a punchy, syrupy tropical and floral monster.
