About Coffee:
As a country best known for its classic washed profiles, Kenya has seen an increasing number of natural-processed coffees in recent years. We have always been very cautious when selecting natural Kenyas, until we cupped this lot at Kamavindi Coffee Lab and immediately decided to secure it. Later, we were delighted to learn that it won 1st Place in the Kenya TOH Natural Category.
The dry fragrance is captivating, offering a sweet, rose-like floral aroma. As you swirl the cup, vibrant notes of pineapple rise first. At higher temperatures, the cup opens with vivid pineapple-like sweetness and acidity, layered with the full-bodied sweetness of red raspberry candy and a long, lingering finish. As the temperature drops slightly, mango aromatics emerge, carrying the luscious texture of ripe mango flesh. For a natural Kenya to present such a silky and delicate mouthfeel is truly rare.
