Coffee cherries are mechanically depulped and washed immediately to remove mucilage, preventing fermentation from happening, dried on shaded raised beds for 7-12 days. 

This is our first Alo coffee selection at delicate! Aidan from Basecoat reached out and asked if I was interested in this coffee, it was an easy yes. Upon sampling the coffee the distinct berry notes and layered florality made it a no brainer. This JARC 74158 coffee is processed with Tamiru Tadesse’s famous zero ferment processing method where coffee is machine washed and depulped to prevent fermentation from happening. This leads to an extremely clean and complex washed coffee. This is a great washed coffee and will speak for itself in cup. Over days of tasting we have experienced notes of blackberry soda, plum juice, magnolia, peach, tangerine, lime, soft mango, raw honey, and jasmine.
